These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of profhlab.com (the “Site”), operated by Prof H Lab. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What this Site is
Prof H Lab publishes independent explanations, tests and counts about artificial intelligence tools, consumer AI settings, and AI-related hiring. We write for people who want a direct answer with the source named next to the number.
Every figure we publish carries the date we checked it. Prices, free tiers, product settings, policies and job counts change without notice, and a number that was correct on the date shown may be wrong by the time you read it. Always confirm current details with the provider before you spend money or make a decision.
No professional advice
The Site is for general information only. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance or employment advice, and reading it does not create any professional relationship between us.
We sometimes write about subjects where the stakes are high — wills, medical records, insurance claims, scam calls, job applications. In those articles we describe what public sources and official documentation say. We are not your lawyer, doctor, adviser or recruiter. For decisions that affect your health, money or legal rights, consult a licensed professional in your own jurisdiction.
How we use AI, and who is responsible for the result
We use AI tools for research and first drafts. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a human before publication, and a person is accountable for what appears on the Site. Corrections
If you find an error, email profhlab@gmail.com with the page and the figure in question. We correct factual errors on the page itself rather than quietly deleting them, and we note substantive corrections so you can see what changed.
Job listings and third-party data
Our jobs pages count and link to openings published by employers on their own career sites and by public job-data sources. We are not an employer, a recruiter, an agency or a party to any hiring decision.
- We do not guarantee that a listing is current, accurate, or still open. Postings are removed and re-posted by employers constantly.
- Apply through the employer’s own site. We never ask for payment, identity documents or bank details, and no legitimate employer will either.
- Where a data source sets terms for how its records may be shown, we follow them. Some sources are used for aggregate counts and links only, and their individual records are deliberately excluded from any file we publish.
Advertising and affiliate links
The Site carries third-party advertising. It currently carries no affiliate links, and we earn no commission from any product named here. Should that change, any affiliate link will be disclosed in the article itself, and a commission will never change our rankings or conclusions. Links to other sites
We link to primary sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
What you send us
Some pages let you send us something — a question on Ask Prof H, a lab listing on Labs Recruiting, an email subscription, or a correction.
- Submissions are reviewed before anything is published. We may edit for length and clarity, publish an anonymised version, or not publish at all.
- Do not send sensitive personal information. No medical records, financial account numbers, government identifiers, passwords or anyone else’s personal data.
- By sending us something for publication you confirm it is yours to send, and you give us permission to publish and keep it on the Site. You keep ownership of what you wrote.
- Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, or designed to advertise through us.
Acceptable use
You may read, print and share our pages, and quote us with a link and attribution. Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site, and do not copy our articles or republish our counts wholesale as your own. If you want to cite one of our datasets, use the “Quote this” line on the page — it is there so you can cite us correctly.
Intellectual property
Original text, charts, tables and images on the Site belong to Prof H Lab unless credited otherwise. Some photographs are used under open licences and are credited where they appear. Trademarks and product names belong to their owners; we use them to identify the products we write about, which does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those companies.
Availability and disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy or completeness of its content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prof H Lab is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or anything linked from it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. See our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The revised version is posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and it applies from the moment it is posted. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the current version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
