- I can’t give personal medical, legal, or financial advice. For those I’ll point you to the right kind of professional instead — that’s the honest answer.
- Your email is required by the form but is never published or added to any list. Questions appear publicly only once answered, and never with personal details left in.

A reader from Ohio asks: Facebook added that Meta AI button everywhere. Can I actually stop it from using my photos?
Partly — and the two switches that work are not the ones most guides point to. You can object to your public posts being used for AI training (Privacy Center → ask about your data being used for AI), and you can keep photos out of cloud processing by declining camera-roll sharing suggestions. Some are — we counted the live openings on the official boards rather than guessing. The real ones come from a handful of named data companies and never ask you to pay for equipment or training; anything that asks for money first is a scam, full stop.
