The Jobs Desk · checked every morning
Real openings. Real pay bands. Checked today.
AI, robotics and chip-industry jobs in the US, read straight from the employer’s own board or the federal posting — with the closing date and the pay range whenever it is published. Tell the desk what you need below and we look it up for you.
30-second tour · what this page is for
3,716 AI jobs, counted this morning.
- Twenty official boards — Read from employers’ own feeds — no aggregators, no guessing.
- 2,173 print a salary — So you can see the real pay band before you apply.
- Entry level, listed — Roles that ask for a diploma and effort, not a PhD.
Most job pages show you a number. This desk shows you the posting — who is hiring, for what, where, the pay band if they published one, and when it closes. Every morning we read the employers’ own boards and the federal announcements, count what is actually open, and write up what changed.
Company boards
Twenty AI, robotics and autonomy employers — OpenAI, Anthropic, Waymo, Figure, xAI and more — pulled from their own job boards, not from aggregators. Every link goes to the employer’s page.
Government & labs
USAJOBS announcements with grade and closing date, plus the 17 Department of Energy national laboratories, which hire directly on their own sites.
Entry-level & part-time
Technician, apprentice and intern roles, legitimate part-time and contract work, and the pay band when the employer publishes one.
The scam filter
No posting appears here unless it lives on the employer’s or the agency’s own domain. We never charge, never recruit, never email you offers.

Thirty seconds, on your phone
Two of the desk’s pieces, rebuilt as tap-through stories. Same numbers, same sources — just the version you can get through while the coffee is still hot.
The Monday count, in your inbox
One email a week: how many AI jobs are open across the 20 boards we count, what moved, and the entry-level picture — the same numbers on this page, dated and citable. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.
The live numbers
Every figure in this article comes from a count we run each morning. The current reading — open roles by company, published pay bands, US locations and the entry-level list — is on one page, updated daily and free to cite.
Ask the desk
Looking for something specific — part-time work you can do from home, a technician job near your town, the first step into robotics without a degree, a federal role in your field? Describe it in plain words. Each day we research the open requests and post what we found: real postings with links, the pay band if published, and an honest note when the market is thin. We use only your first name. We never email you offers, never ask for a fee, and never share your details with anyone.
Recently answered
No requests answered yet — yours could be the first. Every answered request stays on this page, newest first, so the next person with the same question finds it.
Before you apply anywhere: four rules that stop almost every job scam
- Never pay to get a job. No training fee, no equipment deposit, no “background-check” charge. A real employer pays you.
- Never deposit a check and send money back. The check bounces weeks later; the money you sent is gone.
- A job offer by text from a number you never contacted is not an offer. Real recruiters can be checked on the employer’s own site.
- Apply only on the employer’s or the agency’s own domain. Every link on this desk goes there — if an email sends you somewhere else, stop.

Where we look, and what we promise
Company boards we scan: OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google DeepMind (US board), Scale AI, Mercor, Perplexity, Cohere, Sierra, ElevenLabs, Cursor, Cognition, Replit, Figure AI, Apptronik, Agility Robotics, 1X, Physical Intelligence, Waymo and Nuro — read through the public job-board feeds each company publishes, so titles, locations, dates and pay ranges are exactly what the employer posted.
Government and research: USAJOBS (every federal announcement, with grade and closing date), the 17 DOE national laboratories (they hire on their own sites, not USAJOBS), Apprenticeship.gov, and the BLS Occupational Outlook Handbook for pay and growth figures.
What this desk is not: we are not recruiters, we take no money from employers, and a posting can close the hour after we check it. The official page always wins.
